5c The lip

Acrylic on wood, 60x60x2.5cm, 2026. A deep red lip, its textured surface creating a worn appearance, emerges from bamboo bars of a deep, light blue hue. A thin gold ribbon seems to hold the lip in place. Part of the artwork is slightly blurred beneath a semi-transparent white varnish. On the left, a faint gold line adds the finishing touch.
